Steve Harrelson, owner of the Villa Marre, welcomed members of the Quapaw Quarter Association to a "Designing Women"-style supper July 24.
The Villa Marre, on Scott Street in downtown Little Rock, was the residence featured in the 1980s sitcom "Designing Women." The event was part of the QQA's summer supper series. Guests were encouraged to wear 1980s attire.
The sumptuous four-course sit-down supper featured corn crab cakes; trout amandine; blueberry and mint limoncello spritz; a surf-and-turf main course of beef tenderloin and poached lobster; and caramelized lemon mascarpone pound cake for desert.
The summer supper series will conclude Sept. 11 with a party at the home of Ann and Gary Clements in North Little Rock.
